This work is the result of a creative process free of conscious control. Dream and fantasy made rational; as an undeniable part of reality and every day life. It’s an aesthetic vision which calls for rich, contrasting colors and textures expressing the ideal of ordinary subjects and their complex meanings. At other times a dare to experiment with pictorial and illustration techniques to fulfill my vision. Sources of inspiration become surreal scenarios. Through observation what is beautiful, might just have been forgotten.-Maria
