| Micaela Petersen was born in 1975 in a suburb of Hartford, CT. She’s a self taught artist working out of Berkeley for over 10 years now in mostly oils and acrylics. Some of her art includes found materials and items, screen printing and sculptural collage as well. Her work has been recently reviewed as “DeKooning mixed with Evil Dead.” in Wire magazine. Besides working in visual art, she is also very active in the experimental music scene as a percussionist.
