After years of studying, teaching and working as a professional Architectural Illustrator, in the Bay Area. I am experiencing the world of Erotic Art. I cherish the human body as a work of art.
My extra large canvases (4'x6') are being covered in vibrant, rich, oils. Capturing the sensitivity and personality in my painting.
Inspired by Tamara De Lempicka, Klimpt, Egon Schiele, Catherine De Musee and Mel Odom. I draw my inspiration from my models. They are adorned and undressed for my very intimate private sessions that will eventually be photographed and then taken into Photoshop to edit and work on the design. I've been working on a series of 11 painting of sensuous women. The series is called Flowers & Fishnets. I love the symbolism of the flowers, butterflies and wings.
I have included many symbolisms in my paintings. For instance Kellyrose Triangle was posed with red roses. The rose is a symbol of achievement, completion and perfection. The red rose in particular is regarded as masculine. The Kellyrose painting is somewhat masculine to me.
Emily with Wings has Peonies. The emblem of love and affection, feminine beauty and the amorous feelings of youth. She also has wings that symbolize no boundaries to the imagination.
I choose to paint Erotic Art as it is exciting, sexual and sensual. Erotic Art will stimulate the imagination.
Nancy Peach has worked professionally as an Illustrator of Children's Books, Architectural Illustrator, Muralist and Fine Artist for over 35 years. Her work today consists solely of her interpretation of the human experience. Representing emotions, personalities and anatomy in a very erotic subtle way. Owning the sexual, creative, passionate self and allowing the expression of that which is Erotic Art.
Nancy studied at The Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, California. Developing and unveiling the higher self. Nancy's work is free flowing with creativity, sensuality, vibrancy, expression, and mainly an attitude of bold vulnerability resulting from the true, expression of the erotic art.
"Art is physical. Art affects the senses. All art is erotic. At the very least, creating art is a sensual activity enriched by the arousal of our sexual self." - Nancy Peach
